Day 1
For the past few days I have been eating a few things from the Eat Clean Diet, while still allowing myself to eat and drink some treats. Today is when I eat exclusively from the diet. I’ve had the most success when I’ve gone “cold turkey”, and that’s what I’ll be doing this time too. Knowing that I can’t eat or drink my favorite sweet treats, and then following through and sticking with the good choices gives me confidence that I can do this.
I’m looking forward to these better choices translating into more energy for workouts that I’m starting today as well. I’m going to build slowly, and do core and strength so that I don’t injure like I did last time. I’m hoping to be smart and see slow and steady improvement.
So, here’s my starting point...192 lbs. It’s the heaviest I’ve ever been. I have very little energy and am depressed and anxious pretty much all of the time. Hoping better foods and endorphins from working out helps with all of that.
My daughter found a recipe for Pineapple Chicken that we made together. Hoping to find more recipes like it because we loved it. Hoping to get inspired and enjoy some healthier foods!! Here’s a pic...
